Programs at Lake Texoma ATA

Lake Texoma ATA is more than a martial arts school. We are a community focused on growth, character, and confidence. As part of the American Taekwondo Association, we follow the Songahm Taekwondo system, a structured and time-tested curriculum designed to help students succeed at every stage. Our programs are clearly organized by age and ability, allowing students to train safely, progress with confidence, and stay motivated through achievable goals and belt advancement.

Tiny Tigers (ages 4 to 6)

Tiny Tigers introduces young children to Taekwondo in a fun, structured, and supportive environment. Classes focus on listening skills, coordination, balance, and basic martial arts movements while building confidence and respect. This program helps kids develop focus, self-control, and a love for learning through positive reinforcement and movement.

Juniors (ages 7 to 12)

The Juniors program builds strong foundations in Songahm Taekwondo while helping kids grow mentally and physically. Students learn proper technique, discipline, and goal setting through belt progression and age-appropriate challenges. Classes also emphasize confidence, respect, leadership, and perseverance both on and off the mat.

Teens and Adults (ages 13 to 54)

This program is designed for teens and adults looking to improve fitness, confidence, and self-defense while training in traditional Songahm Taekwondo. Students develop strength, flexibility, focus, and discipline at their own pace. Whether the goal is personal growth, stress relief, or earning a black belt, this program supports every stage of the journey.

Special Abilities

Our Special Abilities Taekwondo program offers a supportive, inclusive environment where students of all ages and abilities are welcome. We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to grow, compete, and succeed through martial arts. Our instructors are experienced in adapting training to meet each student's individual needs, focusing on confidence, coordination, discipline, and personal achievement in a safe, respectful, and encouraging atmosphere.

Senior Adult Taekwondo (ages 55+)

Senior adult classes are designed to support fitness, balance, memory, and overall health. Training is slower-paced and tailored specifically for older adults in a safe, supportive environment.
